Curriculum

This curriculum covers the required courses stipulated by the municipal education commission and combine the foreign basic education advantages.

Provide the professional international composite education of sports training on the basis of the international class.

International School created the “Two Paths & Two Campuses” curriculum.

“Two paths” indicate that the curriculum includes the essence of both Western and Chinese educational philosophies.

Strengthen the domestic courses such as Maths, Chinese, History etc. To improve the students’ comprehensive ability, shape good personality, broaden knowledge, cultivate students’ excellent English language skills and explore the innovation ability through the reasonable arrangements of international curriculum, personalized training scheme and challenging evaluation standards. 12-year Two Paths teaching system is offered for students, which ensures seamless docking with the same grade in USA. The seamless connection between “two paths” fosters students to graduate with diplomas from both Chinese and American high schools.

“Two Campuses” implies that students will attend both Chinese and American high schools. This opportunity enables students to experience life in two countries and to be nourished by both traditional Chinese culture and diversified Western culture. Furthermore, experts have carefully integrated Chinese and American curriculums to ensure students’ full development in multiple aspects.

Year 5 students have the chance to study in North Carolina Campus. The attendant Chinese teachers dispatched by the school will continue to teach national primary school curriculum in the school in North Carolina and the Chinese teachers will take care of students.

Year 8 students have the chance to study in New Jersey Campus. The attendant Chinese teachers dispatched by the school will continue to teach national secondary school curriculum in the school in New Jersey and the Chinese teachers will take care of students.

The school will register the US senior high school roll for students and international senior high school students will study in Michigan Campus.

The attendant Chinese teachers dispatched by the school will continue to teach China’s senior high school courses in the Michigan school and the Chinese teachers will take care of students. If qualified, based on their academic performance upon graduation, students can obtain the graduation diplomas of both Chinese and American senior high schools.

American High School courses and Chinese High School courses are integrated, with American preparatory courses. Excellent Chinese teachers teach Chinese courses, and the other courses are taught by our outstanding foreign teachers in English.

The students are to sign up for 3 or 4 AP courses as well as an ACT preparation courses to prepare for the ACT test and AP test. Students can apply for prestigious universities in the US, the UK, Australia and Canada, according to the respective ACT score and TOEFL score.

Teachers are counselors and help students in every aspect. The professional counselors make a plan to study abroad for every student, and help students apply for their ideal colleges.
