北京市海淀外国语实验学校的办学思路从成立之初就十分明确，“外国语”体现了“面向世界，走国际化办学道路”的宗旨；而“实验”则是一种开放的姿态，表达了学校力争成为中国民办基础教育领域开拓者的决心。

北京市海淀国际学校（现更名为北京市海淀外国语藤飞学校）由海淀外国语实验学校国际小学、国际中学发展而来，独创12年双轨制教学体系，与中美同年级无缝对接。
北京市海淀国际学校（现更名为北京市海淀外国语藤飞学校）实行小班授课制，师生配比为1:5，高中以下班级由中西方班主任共同管理。世界多地学习，浸入式中西文化对接，五年级赴美国北卡校区研学交流、初二赴美国新泽西校区研学交流、高二赴美国密歇根校区研学交流。高中学生毕业考试合格即可获得中美两国高中毕业文凭。

The educational philosophy of Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Shi Yan School has been very explicit since its establishment. Foreign Language embodies the tenet of internationalized schooling oriented to the world; Shi Yan is an open posture that expresses the determination of the school to strive to be a pioneer in China’s private basic education field.
The development speed of the school can be comparable with the development speed of China’s economy. There were only 119 students at the founding of the school, and now the number students has reached more than 5,000 and the faculty and staff number over 1,000. Beijing Haidian International School (Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Teng Fei School) implements the small class teaching system, with one teacher for each five students, and the classes below the senior high school are jointly managed by Chinese and foreign head teachers. Students can study in different places in the world and experience intensive Chinese and Western cultural linking.
Grade 4 students can go to study as exchange students in UK. Grade 5 students can enter into the school in North Carolina, US. Grade 8 students can study in the school in New Jersey, US. Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Shi Yan School Kindergarten,a first-class level-A kindergarten in Beijing, is an internationalized kindergarten built by Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Shi Yan School from nearly 20 years of professional accumulation.
With the cultivation goal of “Habit Formation, Potential Development, Multilingual Dialogue and Knowledge Enlightenment”, the kindergarten formed an all-age education system with primary school, junior and senior high school. Jingbei Campus adheres to the academy’s school-running thought of, “integrating the advantages of Chinese and Western education,” and takes the head school education pattern as a model to provide holistic, personalized and diversified growth space for students aged 3-18. The management team of the campus shall be synchronously appointed by the management team of the Beijing general school, and the teacher team shall be directly designated by the Beijing general school.

New Jersey Campus is situated beside Valley Cottage, 21 miles north from the world-famous military institute of The United States Military Academy. We cooperate with Paramus Catholic High School, Depaul High School and John S. Burke Catholic High School.
The school has a rigorous school spirit. Students mainly come from Bergen County which is the best school district in New Jersey, and is comprised of students from over 10 states in the USA, as well as a small number of international students. Graduates are admitted to elite schools such as Yale, Boston, Columbia University, and The Juilliard School of Music.
Closed to New York City, Depaul High School is a prestigious private day school, with 23 college sports teams and more than 30 extracurricular activities. John S. Burke Catholic High School has a history of more than one hundred years, and its alumni are all over the world. The school’s motto is, “Non Vox Sed Votum,” Latin for, “Not Words, but Deeds,” and has the school symbolic colors, blue, white and silver, which indicating its rigorous academic style.
Adjoining Wesleyan College in North Carolina, it cooperates with the Rocky Mount Academy and Greenfield School in North Carolina.
Rocky Mount Academy, established in 1968, is the largest independent school in the area, and its schooling performance is highly recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities.

Ardmore Language Practice Site: Situated in Berkshire, Britain, it cooperates with Ardmore Language Schools in the language culture project. Ardmore Language Schools, established in 1984, is a member of ALTO, FIYTO and BITOA, and one of the Trinity College test centers, enjoying a high reputation in Britain and the world.
LTC Language Practice Site: Located in Eastbourne, Britain, it cooperates with LTC International College in the language culture project. LTC International College is a part of the GEOS organization, and the organization is an international networking institution spread over schools in Europe, Asia, North America and Oceania.
LTC International College, founded in 1954, is located in the mansion of the last duke of Devonshire, England, namely the 18th century Compton Palace, covering an area of 13 hectares. The college’s building is also the only building with a ranking grade in Eastbourne.
Elac Language Practice Site: located in Bath, Britain, cooperates with Elac Study Vacations in the language culture project. Elac Study Vacations, certified by the British Council, provides English language teaching and activity curricula and is also a member of the British English Association.
Haidian Foreign Language Academy has set up the Adelaide Language Practice Site in Australia and cooperatively carries out an exchange student program with the Cornerstone College in Adelaide. Cornerstone College, founded in 1990, covers an area of 16 hectares and has nearly 1, 000 students now.
Cornerstone College, located in Adelaide, Australia, is adjacent to Saint Mark-Mount Barker, enjoying a beautiful environment. For more than 10 years, the middle school students of Haidian Foreign Language Academy have mutually visited and exchanged with students from Cornerstone College every year, and thousands of students have benefited from it.
